Table Talks: Kelly O’Keefe

Kelly O’Keefe, Managing Partner at Brand Federation, will bring his expertise on business branding to our virtual Talks on June 18th by discussing how to re-boot business marketing in light of the COVID-19 crisis.
Mr. O’Keefe is the founder of Brand Federation and a business strategist known for his work in organizational branding. He is a past Managing Director of the Virginia Commonwealth University Brandcenter.
O’Keefe has been a strategic advisor to a wide range of clients including MIT, Disney, Capital One, Microsoft, The Home Depot, ESPN, Walmart, Kitchen Aid, Carmax, UPS, Dominion Energy, Hamilton Beach Brands and the Colombian Coffee Federation. O’Keefe has also provided brand oversight to dozens of non-profit organizations like Sesame Workshop, ChildFund and the Kennedy Foundation and he has acted as advisor on branding issues to two US senators and five Virginia Governors.
O’Keefe’s commentary on brands and creativity has been featured in media outlets, like CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, PBS, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Huffington Post, Time and The Washington Post.
O’Keefe has been inducted into the Virginia Communications Hall of Fame and named Richmond Ad Person of the Year and Virginia Entrepreneur of the Year, while Adweek named his firm Southeast Agency of the Year. He has been on the boards of FirstStreet, The Future of Advertising Project at Wharton, September 11 Victim Relief Fund, AdTech and many other organizations.
