The chilly weather and brisk breezes did not stop hundreds of runners from coming out to Jake’s Reindeer Race. The event coordinator, Cindy Maynard said it was “very, very cold, but still over 600 people came.  Right now we are close to making $50,000.  Given the economic woes, I am thrilled with this amount.  Checks are still coming in, so we won't have a final tally for a few more weeks though.” You could see folks running in Santa hats and wearing jingle bells on the 4^th annual run/walk at the Innsbrook Corporate Center.  Jake’s Reindeer Race is a celebration of the progress that has been made in the area of pediatric cancer research and the commitment to continue the fight against cancer.
